The Encore Shop is a resale shop in downtown Wheaton, Illinois.

Keep an Open Mind

Our Mission:  the Encore Shop will be operated by and for the benefit of individuals suffering from severe and persistent mental illness.  All proceeds from the shop will be used to expand vocational opportunities for individuals who have mental illness.  On a daily basis, we are operated by volunteers from NAMI of DuPage.

The Encore Project provides prevocational experience for clients in a business setting and prepares them for competitive employment.  It provides a meaningful activity through which they can contribute to their community.  It also helps to preserve our environment.

Consider donating some treasured items. We would like musical instruments, fine jewelry, art work, collectibles, linens, small furniture, and men's and women's clothing. Your generosity and contribution will be greatly appreciated and used to enhance this worthy cause.
