Around Chicago: Navy Pier

For over 10 years, Navy Pier has been the place where tourists and locals come together to enjoy all the fun and beauty of a day on Lake Michigan.

The pier offers visitors more than 50 acres of parks, shops, restaurants and attractions--including a 150-foot high Ferris wheel offering a great view of the city.

There is no admission fee to the pier, but rides and other attractions do charge a fee.

Navy Pier is a pleasant mile-and-one-half walk or an $8 cab ride from the Chicago Hilton.
